Plug in some headphones to use Boomsound


Unfortunately, the HTC One A9 doesn’t have the great dual front-facing Boomsound speakers like the HTC One M9. The good news is that the One A9 still has the Boomsound capabilities, but you’ll need a pair of headphones to hear it.
  1. Plug your headphones into the headphone jack
  2. Open Settings > HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio
  3. Select an option from the Choose your headphones screen
  4. The phone remembers the headphone profile you chose so you don’t have to select it again next time
